Berlin, May 17, 2024 — The family fintech Bling is expanding its offering to include a family-friendly shopping list. Bling's new shopping list offers over 50,000 families on the platform an easy way to plan their purchases together. Family members can add, categorize, and share their shopping lists — whether with the entire family or just with selected family members — the shopping list can be customized to keep surprises such as birthday preparations secret.
The shopping list is designed in such a way that even the youngest family members can easily be involved — this means that children can also actively participate in the shopping process and assist with classic household tasks. At the same time, they learn more about household organization and are therefore becoming more and more independent.
“We wanted to offer a way for the whole family to manage their purchasing together. The colorful illustrations make this possible even for children who are not yet good at reading. Purchases that children make with the Bling Card can be easily refunded by parents with one click. It's a whole new shopping experience for the whole family,” explains Lisanne Dörffel, Design Lead at Bling.
The launch of the shopping list is a further step towards a comprehensive family app that covers all family needs. The new product is included in the Family+ subscription, which also includes other benefits such as the parent card, unlimited savings accounts or free replacement cards.
